Tyler Shelton is the owner and president of Sun Tile Corporation, a family-owned flooring installation company based in Buda, Texas. His father, William “Bill” Shelton, founded the company in 1984. Tyler Shelton leads Sun Tile Corporation today, carrying forward the standards his father established while expanding the company's capabilities for a new generation of Austin builders. Under Tyler's leadership, Sun Tile completes thousands of installations annually across Central Texas.
Tyler's knowledge of the Austin construction market — and his personal relationships with builder partners spanning multiple decades — is a large part of why Sun Tile remains a preferred flooring partner for many of the region's home builders. Sun Tile self-performs its installation work with in-house crews rather than brokering jobs out, and assigns territory-based field managers to builder accounts.
